Statement of Faith

We serve all people regardless of faith, race, sex, age, or otherwise. 70x7 exists to help people discover the freedom that is found through the journey of forgiveness. We believe in the power of forgiveness.

70x7 Statement of Faith
We believe that forgiveness and reconciliation are at the heart of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a Christian nonprofit, we are committed to living out and sharing the biblical truth that God calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32) and to seek reconciliation as ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

The Bible
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate standard for all Christian faith, life, and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each equally divine, fully possessing all attributes of deity, and working together in unity for the redemption of mankind (Matthew 28:19, Deuteronomy 6:4).

Jesus Christ & Salvation
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became flesh through the virgin birth, lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, and rose again bodily on the third day. Through His sacrifice, we receive the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life by grace through faith in Him alone (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9).

Forgiveness & Reconciliation
We believe that God has called us to a ministry of forgiveness and reconciliation, first with Him and then with one another (Colossians 3:13).
-
Forgiveness is a command given by Christ, not based on feelings but as an act of obedience to God (Matthew 6:14-15).
-
Reconciliation is at the core of the Gospel, as God reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, calling us to extend that reconciliation to others (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
-
Healing comes through forgiveness, and we seek to be a bridge for individuals, families, and communities to experience the power of God's grace and restoration.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, guiding, empowering, and transforming them to live out Christ’s calling in their lives. He convicts of sin, leads us to truth, and enables us to extend forgiveness to others (John 14:26, Galatians 5:22-23).

The Church
We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, composed of all believers united in faith. The church is called to reflect Christ’s love and forgiveness, making disciples of all nations and demonstrating God’s grace in relationships (Ephesians 4:1-6, Matthew 28:19-20).

The Return of Christ
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ, who will establish His eternal kingdom, bringing justice, restoration, and final reconciliation to all things (Revelation 21:3-5, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Our Commitment
As followers of Christ, we are dedicated to:
-
Teaching and practicing biblical forgiveness and reconciliation in all areas of life.
-
Helping individuals break free from bitterness and unforgiveness through Christ’s power.
-
Creating communities of grace where relationships are restored, and the Gospel is lived out daily.
We affirm these beliefs as the foundation of our mission and ministry, trusting that through Christ, true forgiveness and reconciliation are possible.
